Overview

A Laravel SaaS and Odoo Python module for translating fields Odoo does not normally expose. It tracks coverage, lets users correct translations, runs jobs, shows live progress and translates livechat conversations in real time.

Problem

Odoo changes are not always simple field edits. The useful text can be spread across modules, inherited records or business rules chosen by the client.

Resolution

The SaaS lets users define what should react to changes, then turns matching Odoo events into focused translation jobs instead of translating everything blindly.

System flow

  1. 01Users choose the content families, fields and languages that matter.
  2. 02The connector detects relevant updates and sends only the selected source text.
  3. 03The SaaS filters the request, avoids duplicate work and starts a controlled job.

Implementation notes

Rules stay configurable from the Laravel panel.

Complex Odoo structures are hidden behind a simpler translation view.

Coverage and monitoring make each automated run visible to the client.

Problem

Some useful Odoo fields are not translatable through the usual Odoo mechanisms.

Approach

Build a Laravel control panel for clients, licenses, settings and monitoring, plus a Python Odoo module close enough to the ORM to handle the missing fields.

Result

A working SaaS with connection settings, field selection, coverage tracking, manual corrections, live job monitoring and realtime chat translation.
